RRB Group D Syllabus 2025

The RRB Group D Recruitment 2025 is announced for 32438 vacancies under advertisement number CEN-08/2024. The online application process was started from 23rd January 2025 and has been Extended to be completed till March 01st, 2025.

Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Stage 3: Medical Examination.

RRB Group D Exam Pattern:-

The selection process for RRB Group D consists of four stages:-

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

This is the first and most crucial stage. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and is conducted online.

  • Total Questions: 100
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PWD candidates)
  • Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each wrong answer
  • Subjects Covered: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness & Current Affairs

RRB Group D Syllabus 2025 for General Awareness

Candidates are qualifying in CBT will call for PET.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who clear the CBT are shortlisted for the PET, which tests their physical fitness.

  • Male Candidates: Must lift and carry 35 kg weightfor100 meters in 2 minutes and run 1000 meters in 4 minutes 15 seconds.
  • Female Candidates: Must lift andcarry20 kg weightfor100 meters in 2 minutes and run1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds.

3. Document Verification (DV)

Shortlisted candidates after PET must provide their original documents for verification.

4. Medical Examination

Candidates must meet the medical standards required for the respective posts.


RRB Group D 2025 Exam Pattern

Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each incorrect answer
Marking Scheme: 1 mark awarded for each correct answer
Question Type: Objective type with multiple-choice questions
Minimum Percentage for Eligibility: Category
UR (Unreserved): 40%
EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 40%
OBC (Non-creamy): 30%
SC (Scheduled Caste): 30%
ST (Scheduled Tribe): 30%


Create a Study Plan

  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly goals to cover all subjects.
  • Allocate more time to weak subjects and revise daily.
  • Include mock tests and previous year papers in your schedule.

Practice Previous Year Papers & Mock Tests

  • Solve at least 10-15 previous year papers to understand the exam pattern.
  • Take mock tests regularly to analyze strengths and weaknesses.
  • Improve time management and accuracy.

Time Management & Speed Improvement

  • Solve easy questions first and mark difficult ones for later.
  • Avoid spending too much time on any single question.
  • Use the elimination method in MCQs.
