IT Project Manager
Our innovative and growing company is looking to fill the role as a IT Project Manager with Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role, managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion and Excellent technical & communication skills.
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects while effectively managing resources, risks, and stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate resources, including team members, third-party contractors, and vendors, to execute project tasks effectively.
- Manage project execution, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and mitigating risks to ensure project goals are met.
- Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct project evaluations and post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with project management best practices, company policies, and industry standards.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role, managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and PMBOK.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve project objectives.
Qualification & Experience Required:
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working with remote teams and vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Project management certification, such as PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2, is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the software development or technology industry.
